The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) is a non-political, non-profit making organisation, owned and directed by its members. Members of the Reserve Forces undergo rigorous training, gaining many new and highly valuable skills which can be easily transferred into the workplace. Meeting Reservists and hearing about their roles really drives home this point. Here, Reservists demonstrate on a daily basis an ability to communicate, work under pressure and take responsibility for their actions - qualities which many employers in the UK struggle to find in employees. The BCC, in working with SaBRE is keen to ensure our members understand both the challenge but also the benefits of employing a Reservist and can easily access valuable support and information."
