The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is the largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms.

Visiting Afghanistan and seeing first hand the wide variety of roles Reservists have, really underlines how crucial they are to the Armed Forces' effort. However, the fact is that without the support of their employers it would be much more difficult for them to do the brilliant jobs they are doing today. The FSB understands the immense pressure many small businesses in the UK are under today and we are therefore pleased to be working with SaBRE to ensure that small businesses are able to access advice and support on employing a Reservist. We hope with the help of the FSB and SaBRE, small businesses will feel more able to lend their support to the Reserve Forces."
