Explaining this course to your employer
After passing their initial recruit training, non-infantry recruits, or ‘Soldiers Under Training’ (SUTs) go on to attend the Trained Soldier Course (B).
This course builds on the basic skills they have developed so far and includes two intensive field exercises. Physically and mentally demanding, it requires them to rely on teamwork, dedication, physical fitness and motivation to get them through.
After qualifying, the trained soldier can then join their chosen unit and take part in full scale training.

What would it cost your employer?
According to research endorsed by the Chartered Management Institute, if your employer was to pay for training to deliver equivalent employee development it would cost them in the order of £750. This only relates to the skills that would be relevant to a civilian workplace - areas such as documentation and logistics management.
