  2. By understanding fully your rights and responsibilities and finding out what your employer can claim if you are mobilised, you'll be able to pre-empt some of your employers concerns and remove barriers to them being able to support you.

  3. By making sure that your employer understands the skills you are bringing back to the workplace they will be more likely to release you for training or mobilisation, and understand that through these activities you will be developing skills that will be of great value to them too.

  4. By understanding fully your rights and responsibilities and letting them know where they can find information you'll be able to answer their concerns and remove barriers to them being able to support you.

  5. There are many benefits to making sure your employer knows what your Reserve Forces activity involves. The better your employer understands what you are doing and the skills you will be gaining through your training the more likely they are to be supportive of you.
